The Soul Living Methodology

Soul Living is built on a precise vocabulary of human experience — giving people language for what they have always felt but never been able to name.

What are the 12 Core Wounds?

The 12 Core Wounds are the universal patterns of pain that shape how we see ourselves and move through the world. Every person carries some combination of these wounds — and naming them is the first step to healing.

  • The Wound of Rejection — The deep fear of being unwanted or cast out, leading to people-pleasing and self-abandonment. // TODO: confirm client copy
  • The Wound of Abandonment — The terror of being left alone, creating anxious attachment and chronic self-sufficiency. // TODO: confirm client copy
  • The Wound of Humiliation — The shame of being diminished or exposed, driving perfectionism and shrinking. // TODO: confirm client copy
  • The Wound of Betrayal — The collapse of trust after being deceived, fuelling control patterns and hyper-vigilance. // TODO: confirm client copy
  • The Wound of Injustice — The pain of being treated unfairly, producing rigidity or chronic over-giving. // TODO: confirm client copy
  • The Wound of Unworthiness — The belief that one is fundamentally not enough, at the root of self-sabotage. // TODO: confirm client copy
  • The Wound of Invisibility — The grief of never being truly seen, causing over-performance or withdrawal. // TODO: confirm client copy
  • The Wound of Powerlessness — The felt experience of having no agency, leading to collapse or rebellion. // TODO: confirm client copy
  • The Wound of Shame — A pervasive sense that the self itself is bad or broken, not merely the actions. // TODO: confirm client copy
  • The Wound of Loss — The grief of what was taken — love, safety, potential — that shapes every future attachment. // TODO: confirm client copy
  • The Wound of Disconnection — The ache of feeling separate from self, others, and belonging. // TODO: confirm client copy
  • The Wound of Scarcity — The chronic sense that there is never enough — time, love, safety, or worth. // TODO: confirm client copy

What are Soulisms?

A Soulism is a short, embodied statement of truth — a personalised phrase that anchors you in who you actually are, rather than who your wound taught you to be. Soulisms are spoken aloud, written, and woven into your daily soul protocol as a practice of remembrance.

What does "Scarcity of [Wound]" mean?

The "Scarcity of [Wound]" construction names the specific flavour of lack that each Core Wound creates. For example: the Wound of Rejection creates a Scarcity of Belonging; the Wound of Abandonment creates a Scarcity of Safety. This naming practice gives clients precise language for their lived experience — and makes healing feel tangible rather than abstract.
